Landmarks under repair

Following is a list of landmarks that are under repair.

NOTE: Schedules may be changed. Every site under repair is not included.

Chion-in temple

Shukai-do, the assembly hall, is under repair from 2005. After completion, Miei-do hall, a national treasure, will be repaired. The repairs continue for 14 years total.

Kiyomizu-dera

Koyasu-no-to pagoda of Kiyomizu-dera is under overhaul from February 18, 2009. The repair work is planned to complete by the end of March, 2013. The weathered pagoda will regain the original color.

As of April, 2012, Okunoin, Amidado, and Asakra-do buildings are also under overhaul.
