Excellent Soba noodle

They no longer serve soba. but I do not delete this page because I believe that the following is still a good example of serving soba (buckwheat). I am just disappointed in their decision. (Nov. 15, 2008)

Soba zanmai, mid size, priced 2500 yen.

Soba-gayu (soba porridge) with umeboshi (pickled plum) in a small cup. Arabiki soba (noodle made of coarse buckwheat flour). Sobagaki, flour kneaded with fresh hot water.
Seiro (soba noodle made of fine buckwheat flour). Sobayu (hot water that is used to boil soba noodle). Nutrition of soba is dissolved into it.
